ANTECEDENTES DEL PROYECTO
En los รบltimos aรฑos se han extendido movimientos que representan para muchos jรณvenes, especialmente universitarios, una forma de activismo y protesta pacรญfica relacionada con cuestiones como la sostenibilidad medioambiental y lucha contra el cambio climรกtico.
OBJETIVOS GENERALES
El proyecto pretende aumentar la alfabetizaciรณn medioambiental de los estudiantes, especialmente los universitarios, implicรกndolos en sus comunidades y transformรกndolos en agentes de cambio.
OBJETIVOS ESPECรFICOS
Identificar las raรญces del fenรณmeno de la radicalizaciรณn violenta vinculada a los efectos ambientales y climรกticos a travรฉs de la investigaciรณn cualitativa y cuantitativa de casos emblemรกticos, actitudes y opiniones de estudiantes universitarios
Resultados
El proyecto promoverรก la alfabetizaciรณn ambiental de los estudiantes universitarios, desarrollando sus conocimientos y habilidades y creando un vรญnculo entre ellos y la comunidad de la que forman parte, aumentando su interรฉs y conocimiento sobre los temas del cambio climรกtico.
El proyecto proporcionarรก a los participantes una comprensiรณn de la complejidad de los sistemas ambientales y sociales asรญ como grandes habilidades en la resoluciรณn de problemas, a travรฉs de las cuales podrรกn intervenir en sistemas con soluciones innovadoras y efectivas que contribuyan a combatir el cambio climรกtico y los problemas de sostenibilidad ambiental, al tiempo que previenen la radicalizaciรณn violenta.
El proyecto promoverรก el desarrollo profesional de los participantes a travรฉs de la creaciรณn de una comunidad de prรกctica sobre el tema de prevenciรณn de la radicalizaciรณn violenta en el activismo ambiental. Unirรก las contribuciones de los diferentes actores (acadรฉmicos, estudiantes, realidades del tercer sector), potenciando el impacto de las acciones para prevenir la radicalizaciรณn violenta en el activismo ambiental y la lucha contra el cambio climรกtico.

๐ช๐บ During the project's kick-off meeting, we worked together to kickstart the ELCRA project, which is dedicated to preventing violent radicalization in environmental activism. We shared ideas, received insights for quality project management and communication, and collectively decided on the tools to enable us to navigate the ELCRA journey successfully. Here we can see how partners have been working together in a reflective workshop to provide keywords, ideas and definitions on the first phase of the Research! ๐๐

๐๐ After the first day of the ELCRA Kick-off Meeting, we held the conference โClimate Change and Its Challenges: The Links Between Environmental Literacy and the Prevention of Violent Radicalization of Climate Activism.โ This event was a significant step in promoting ELCRAโs objectives, outcomes, and the unique contributions of each partner. ๐ฟ๐ค
The conference featured 16 speakers from diverse nationalities, including Spanish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, and Italian, offering a rich tapestry of perspectives. ๐ The event, lasting two and a half hours, was aimed at university students, professors, and staff, fostering a dynamic educational environment. ๐
Listeners included colleagues from Balkan Universities, who actively participated in the conclusion round, enriching the discourse with their insights. ๐ค๐ฌ
A special thank you goes to the University of Siena for not just hosting the Kick-off but also providing a valuable platform for ELCRA, enhancing its visibility and facilitating this international conference. ๐๏ธ๐
